CRP/K Vision

Kosovo has undergone a very difficult period of its newer history and is now striving to accomplish main tasks of international security and civil presence. UNMIK has achieved a significant progress in establishing self-governing institutions, strengthening rule of law, developing cooperation with relevant authorities to combat all phenomena that may endanger its future and welfare of its citizens.  Such an approach is key to ensuring continuing international support and integration into the European family. It is important that Kosovo citizens have a possibility to look to a future of hope, a future of safety, stability, and factual opportunities.

In addition, the issue of returns and protection of minorities requires a particular attention on implementing confidence-building measures among all communities in order to improve the security environment. Local and international partners are continuing to walk with Kosovo on this journey, and Kosovo’s people can ensure it reaches its destination.

CRP/K, considering itself as one of entities that may actually keep the pace with all other actors engaged, is trying to contribute to the creation of positive climate for a genuine democracy and implementation of values of a democratic society.

Vision of CRP/K is closely linked to the respect of basic human rights, equal treatment of all Kosovo citizens, regardless of their ethnic, religious, political or other background. There is no greater priority for it than for all Kosovo people to enjoy basic civil rights, be equal parts of a society, have unlimited access to institutions and decision-making bodies; live in an multi-ethnic, stable and fully functioning environment in safety and dignity and finally embrace people’s cultural diversity as a source of strength and beauty.
