The Civil Rights Project Kosovo
is implementing partner for UNHCR in providing free legal aid (information, counselling
and legal assistance). CRP/K addresses legal issues related mainly to property,
documentation, employment, pensions and social welfare, with a specific focus on
the rights of internally displaced persons and minorities. We are seeking for:
Legal Officer
1 (one) position
Duty station:
Peja
The following conditions are required:

University Degree in Law
·
Relevant working experience
·
Previous experience with similar NGOs is preferable
·
Fluency in written and spoken English, Albanian
and Serbian
·
Excellent writing and communication skills
·
Good knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel and familiar
with Internet and other software
·
Valid driving licence
Duties and responsibilities:
·
Give correct and relevant legal information
and advice to all clients
·
Follow-up client’s cases in a concrete and
practical manner
·
Make weekly activity plans and reports according
to guidelines
·
Participate in preparing monthly and annual
reports
·
Cooperate with UNHCR, other actors and the
CRP offices in the region.
The position requires initiative, professional attitude, co-operation skills and
the willingness to work in a multi-ethnic environment.
