CRP Mitrovica
CRP/K Mitrovica FO has a satellite office
in Zvecan/Zvecane.
The office staff is a multiethnic and counts
five lawyers: three Albanians and two Serbs. CRP/K Mitrovica FO covers Skenderaj/Srbica,
Vushtrri/Vucitrn, Leposaviq/Leposavic, Zvecan/Zvecane and Zubin Potok. We have a
very good cooperation with these municipalities.
CRP/K Mitrovica FO conducts continuous field
visit in all camps populated by Roma, Ashkali and Egyptian (RAE) communities (Cesmin-lug,
Osterode, Prilluzhe and Leposaviq/Leposavic) as well as in all other locations where
these communities are privately accommodated, with the aim to reach all the isolated
zones and all vulnerable minority communities.
CRP/K Mitrovica FO actively assists its Persons
of Concern (PoC) in obtaining of personal, school and property documents as well
as in all legal issues.
As from January 2007 CRP/K Mitrovica office
has identified 462 cases of RAE communities in need of civil registration of which
421 are positively processed, hence it is
a very solid number and a very successful work in a short period of time. We have
obtained tens of ID cards and have formalized significant number of marriages for
RAE community members.
CRP Mitrovica FO has also done considerable
work in obtaining school documents for the majority (Albanian) population from the
university and technical school in Zvecan/Zvecane as well as many certificates of
the technical high school from Mitrovica city archive for members of the Serbian
community.
We have also obtained many working booklets
on behalf of our clients.
CRP/Mitrovica FO has a very good cooperation
with all organs of local authorities in Mitrovica, Vushtrri/Vucitrn, Skenderaj/Srbica,
Leposaviq/Leposavic, Zvecane/Zvecan and Zubin Potok municipalities.
